What's New?
This month, we are excited to share the latest enhancements to our platform including four features we hope that will elevate your experience:
- Map Lasso Tool: This feature creates two new ways to select geographies in maps: a circle and a lasso. These new options allow users to more specifically select geographies and give more options for easily grouping geographies.
- Search Bar Standardization: This updates the search experience across data.census.gov to be consistent. The designs of all search bars now match (e.g., the ?Search for filter? search bar in the filter panel is updated to match the main search bar).
- census.gov Sitemap: This innovative tool ensures that search engines can seamlessly index our data making your search for valuable information easier and more efficient.
- Update Share Dialog on the Profile Pages: Per a request from our users, we are removing the ?embed? link from the Share dialog on Profile Pages as the system does not currently support embedding profiles.
- Technical work to help improve internal review processes.
