Jack, as expected, the new speaker is on-board with MAGA's baseless impeachment inquiry, signaling in an interview that the GOP plans to ratchet up their harassment of private citizens in their zealous attempt to find something, anything, they can use to push forward with impeachment.

Just last week, Republican House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer touted the most recent "revelation" from MAGA's impeachment inquiry: President Biden lent his brother money.

That's right. The so-called "evidence" MAGA Republicans claim link Biden to foreign business deals actually revealed, once again, that Biden is a dedicated family man who does everything he can for those he loves. Oh, and that the Bidens buy groceries and are responsible pet owners. Despite finding nothing, the new speaker, of course, happily hyped the allegations as proof of wrongdoing.

Republicans are determined to continue the charade because what they lack in evidence they make up for in their need to distract voters from their endless dysfunction and unpopular ideas, vilify Biden, and pave the way for a 2024 Trump victory. They'll do anything to grub for political power, no matter the cost to the rest of us. We will not stand for it.
