** Support Art in Action's Emerging Artists with Golden Rule Spirits & GLOR Collaboration!

We're thrilled to announce a unique collaboration that brings fashion to the forefront and also supports emerging artists in a big way. Golden Rule Spirits ([link removed]) has partnered with local apparel designer GLOR ([link removed]) to create five exquisite, one-of-a-kind garments.

This partnership is even more special because three of these exclusive pieces will be up for auction on eBay starting November 3rd, and every dollar raised will directly benefit our Emerging Artist Series. Plus every person who bids on one of the Golden Rule Spirits x GLOR collab coats will be entered to win a GLOR bucket hat and tote, filled with goodies from Golden Rule.

Art in Action’s Giving Tuesday Cork Drive!

This Giving Tuesday, November 28th, donate your wine corks to Art in Action, and bring the joy of creating art to 6,000+ kindergarteners. Wine corks are an essential art tool in our Program K Utagawa Toyohiro art lesson. Let's kickoff the Season of Giving by giving back, one cork at a time!

Our Giving Tuesday goal is simple but impactful: we're asking for your help to collect 6,000+ corks. Local schools can support by organizing cork collection campaigns.

On November 28th, cork donations can be dropped off at:

** Volunteers Needed!

We're looking for volunteers to join our team at our Redwood City office. Your help is appreciated in a variety of tasks, mainly helping to prepare and pack art supplies for students. Current shifts available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9am-2pm, and on Tuesdays from 12pm-2pm. "Art in Action is an extremely important addition to our school curriculum. The art pieces are unique in setting up conversations amongst the students. The art itself is beautiful and the joy that each student has in creating the art is priceless. I cannot put a value on this program. It is important and essential for growing minds that they are exposed to different art processes and techniques and helps the students grow in being able to communicate through art. ** Our Impact

Currently, over 76,000 students have Art in Action. We aim to provide our programs to 90,000 this school year.


** Field Observations
------------------------------------------------------------

We'd like to be a “fly on the (classroom) wall” during your next Art in Action lesson. We are looking for classrooms in grades 1, 3, and 6 to participate in our field observations project during the months of November 2023-January 2024. This project will help us learn how you use our programming and where we can improve! Please email us (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Field%20Observations%20Class&body=) if you are interested. *Only CA schools eligible to participate.
