Halloween may be over, but this is really scary, John.
During an interview with Fox News, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin admitted to what we’ve all feared: If Republicans keep their majority in the House and flip the State Senate in Virginia — Republicans will no longer have “a group of progressive left Senators that will block [them] at every turn” in their attempt to pass far-right legislation like an abortion ban.
Right now the legislature in Virginia is split — with Republicans holding a slim majority in the House, and Democrats with an even smaller majority in the Senate. But with newly drawn districts and every seat in the legislature on the ballot next Tuesday — this election could go either way.
Now that Gov. Youngkin has taken his mask off, we know what we need to do. With less than one week till Election Day, we must go all out to reach voters in Virginia to flip the House and keep the Senate in order to stop Republicans and Gov. Youngkin’s right-wing agenda. Will you chip in $10 now to help us get out the vote in this final week?

This year we’ve endorsed nearly 20 candidates in Virginia who will fight to protect abortion rights in Virginia — the last state in the South where abortion isn't restricted.
But recent polls have Democrats and Republicans virtually tied1 — which means this election will ultimately come down to turnout.
With just 6 days to go, will you help get out the vote and protect abortion rights in Virginia? Every dollar you give will be critical in this final push before Election Day.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
P.S. Got time to make calls? Join us tomorrow, Thursday, November 2 at 6pm ET to help us reach voters in Virginia and help protect abortion rights in the South.
