Dear John,

Next week, we’re teaming up with the League of Women Voters of Maine [[link removed]] and Maine Women’s Lobby [[link removed]] to present a three city tour on why the National Popular Vote(NPV) matters. You're invited to join for a discussion about how the NPV works and how it works for you .

The National Popular Vote guarantees the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes across all 50 states. The Compact ensures that every vote, in every state, will matter in every presidential election. It is a state-based approach that preserves the Electoral College, state control of elections, and the power of the states to control how the President is elected.
