| At the time this lands in your inbox, I have been back at work for a couple months post-maternity leave. What a mix of emotions that brings! |
On one hand, I am thrilled and filled with joy and love- Baby Bellamy is a total smush, and getting bigger every day. Waverly loves being a big sister and all of us are adapting to this ‘new normal’. On the other hand, as I hold her in my arms, I cannot help but contemplate the world both my girls will inherit and the climate challenges both will face. |
It can be overwhelming for me, and I know it can be overwhelming for you too. |

Climate change is an issue that affects us all, and it is our collective responsibility to address it for the sake of future generations. While it is easy to feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of the problem, I choose to embrace hope and optimism for the future. By taking action now, we can create a better world for our children and grandchildren. Thank you for believing in Acterra’s ability to leverage your giving to make a difference.

Your support is crucial. With your contribution, Acterra actively reduces greenhouse gas emissions by getting residents into electric vehicles. With your contribution, we support the transition to renewable energy sources through the adoption of clean appliances. With your contribution, we feed people locally sourced, plant based food. And, with your contribution, standing side by side with residents of all ages and backgrounds, we change the status quo in local political systems. I feel the power in our work together: We cannot do it alone.
