Our service members were first deployed to the Middle East to defend our country and its allies more than half a century ago. Today, 30,000 of our brave service members are deployed to the region — and that number continues to grow as more are deployed amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war and escalating tensions in neighboring countries.
Since Oct. 7, militia groups backed by Iran have attacked U.S. forces conducting counterterrorism missions in Iraq and Syria over a dozen occasions. And to protect our service members on the ground, the U.S. military has escalated its presence, putting more carrier strike groups and F-16 squadrons in the region and placing patriot missile battalions on high alert in preparation for whatever escalation may come next.
Amid these dangerous and uncertain circumstances, it is important that we stand with America’s brave heroes in the Middle East protecting our country and our freedoms.
But right now, we’re still WAY short of the 30,000 names we need on our card in support of the 30,000 service members deployed to the region.
Please, will you sign our card now to show your support for the 30,000 courageous service members currently risking their lives in the Middle East to keep us safe and free?
Thank you for standing with those who serve.
Sincerely,
Christopher Plamp
