Senseless gun violence impacts communities across our country every day, and we need to institute commonsense gun safety legislation that has been proven to save lives.

In the wake of the mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, I'm unveiling a comprehensive policy platform on gun safety legislation for New Hampshire, which includes:

✓ Universal background checks
✓ Prohibiting guns in K-12 schools
✓ Banning the sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines
✓ Banning untraceable “ghost guns”
✓ Reinstating permits for concealed carry

Gun violence prevention is one of the most urgent issues that is on the line with this race. Why? Because far-right extremist Kelly Ayotte is running for governor, too.

The same Kelly Ayotte that, as Senator, helped defeat gun safety legislation . After Sandy Hook, where 20 elementary school children and six adults were murdered, Kelly Ayotte voted against expanded background checks.

As Governor, I will do everything in my power to protect children, families, and every Granite Stater from gun violence.

I'm committed to fighting to keep New Hampshire safe for all Granite Staters.
