Does it matter if we sell our land to China? Does it matter if we raise the sales tax? Does it matter if we raise the gas tax?

I think it does matter. My husband, Jay Ashcroft, thinks it matters. He’s running for Governor because it matters.

Jay is the candidate who authored the bill to ban China, Iran, Venezuela, Russia, and North Korea from buying any Missouri land.

Jay is the candidate who opposed an increase in the state sales tax.

Jay is the candidate who opposed an increase in the gas tax.

Jay implemented rules to prohibit taxpayer-funded libraries from giving inappropriate books and magazines to children.

Jay implemented rules for Wall Street money managers to inform their customers when they put woke ESG investment strategies ahead of customer profits.

Jay is the only candidate endorsed by Missouri Right to Life because of his leadership protecting life.

However many things Jay is, he is not the choice of Jefferson City lobbyists. He’s stood up to the special interest groups too many times.

I will be blunt – Jay’s opponent has earned the support of the Jefferson City lobbyists and special interest groups. And that means millions of dollars in his war chest. We don’t have millions, but we have thousands of conservative Missourians who care about our state and their families. That’s what we are fighting for and that’s why we need your help.

A new poll has Jay ahead by 17% but his opponent has more than $5 million to spend already and the election is still 10 months away.
