Dear Friend,

I’m writing to invite you to a Prime Rib dinner celebration honoring Veterans Day. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the immense sacrifices made by all who have served in our armed forces.

Join myself and special guest Congressman Jeff Jackson (NC-14), who served in Afghanistan, for a Veterans Day Dinner and Discussion next Friday, Nov 10 at 4PM at the American Legion Post 136 in Greenbelt.

Honoring and taking care of our vets is personal to me – I’m the son of a Navy Quartermaster and I had the honor of serving on the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs. Our veterans have shown unwavering commitment and courage in the face of adversity to protect our freedoms and uphold our democratic values. They have answered the call of duty with valor, and for that, I would like to personally say thank you.

Let’s use this Veterans Day to show our appreciation and provide our veterans with the support and recognition they so rightly deserve. Their service has made our nation stronger and has preserved the liberties we hold dear.
