After years as a trade unionist, where I fought on behalf of firefighters, grocery store workers, and meatpackers, I've seen firsthand the issues plaguing working folks in our community. It’s why I came to Washington to build on my fight and ensure every person has a seat at the table.

From day one, I wanted a campaign powered by hardworking folks who’d chip in what they could, when they could, so we could build a movement we all believe in. Because this campaign is about folks like you, not super PACs and powerful mega-donors.

But building a grassroots movement makes us especially vulnerable to outside spending and attacks, and National Republicans have already turned their attention to seats like mine as they look to expand their House majority.

I know what this grassroots team is capable of, and I know if we dig deep and work together to fight for our shared values, we can overcome anything thrown our way — because we’ve done it before, and we’ll do it again.

So I’m personally asking one last time to add a contribution of any amount to help us reach our end-of-month fundraising goal, protect this seat, and take back the House majority.
