Last week, we celebrated the Housing Policy and Practice Review published by California's Department on Housing and Community Development. This report requires the Board of Supervisors to pass Mayor Breed's Constraints Reduction Ordinance within 30 days to streamline housing projects. However, some supervisors think it's an empty threat and are willing to continue delay. This would risk over $200 million a year in state funds and cannot happen.
?
Please send a letter to fight back. It will only take a couple minutes, and the Board of Supervisors needs to hear from you and understand that this is serious. Tell our elected officials to follow the plan that they passed and provide real solutions to the housing crisis. San Francisco can be a vibrant and affordable?place for everyone who wants to live here. Let's make that vision a reality.
