Team,

Through all of the chaos in Congress, my goals have remained the same. I’ve stayed focused on trying to create more economic opportunity for the people I represent. I’ve stayed focused on putting people over politics – progress over partisan bickering. In the face of unprecedented challenges, I have been proud to continue fighting for the people of Washington.

And, in a moment, I'm going to ask you to consider chipping in $10, or whatever you can, to help me continue fighting for you in Congress. But first, we need to recognize that we face big challenges ahead. >> [link removed]

These past months, our nation has weathered near-defaults and shutdowns, a vacant speakership accompanied by partisan political games, and now, the appointment of a far-right speaker. The American people deserve leadership that prioritizes progress and bipartisan collaboration, not political theater, chaos, uncertainty, and gridlock.

But, here’s the truth, team: The road to change is never easy. Recent events have shown us the unique challenges facing Congress. Instead of being disheartened, I see a profound opportunity — a chance to make Congress work for the American people.

In a time of unprecedented division in our government, we need leaders who bridge partisan gaps and champion bipartisanship to move our nation forward. With 2024 just around the corner, we must empower Democrats to retake the House and do everything we can to set this campaign up for success.

Can I count on you to chip in $5 or whatever you can to help us reach our end-of-month fundraising goal before midnight tonight? >> [link removed]

It's an honor to represent you,

Derek
