Hi, John – it's Robert, Barbara's Campaign Manager. I really don’t want to send this email, not on Halloween, but this is truly terrifying:

I just checked ActBlue and our end-of-month fundraising is slowing down. If nothing changes, we’ll fall short of the critical $250,000 goal we set for October.

I'm meeting with Congresswoman Lee tomorrow to make some strategic decisions. If we don't get a huge surge of contributions by midnight, I'll have to give her the bad news we're falling behind.

Please, let's not let her down: Can you rush $5 right now so that we can hit our $250K end-of-month goal? In a race this close, missing even one goal could be catastrophic for Barbara's run for the Senate.
