I had to make a very tough decision.

Yesterday afternoon we had an ad budget meeting — the one I wrote you about on Wednesday — and it became clear that given recent developments in the race that if we had a bit more money we could fight for a number of additional delegates next Tuesday and the week that follows.

The money wasn’t budgeted, but I gave the green light again.

It is no doubt a risk — especially in this new race. But there are a lot of voters making up their minds again and we have to reach them before it's too late.

So I made the bet that if I asked you for help that you would come through, again, to fill the gap. I hope that you can do it... for Bernie, and for this movement.

No doubt about it, it was a difficult decision. But if there’s one thing that makes this campaign entirely different from Joe Biden’s: it’s the people. You answer the call time and time again.
