The GOP is now fully Trump’s party. The election of Mike Johnson—an election-denying, anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ+, anti-Social Security insurrectionist—as House Speaker sealed the deal.

My campaign’s end-of-month fundraising deadline is in just a few hours, and while we’ve made up some ground, we’re still a bit short of our $25,000 fundraising goal. Rep. Lawler is complicit in every cruel and extreme piece of legislation the MAGA party puts forward. Because of Mike Lawler’s vote, Medicare, Social Security, and our basic freedoms including abortion rights and LGBTQ+ equality are in jeopardy.

Retaking our majority is personal to me. For all LGBTQ+ people like me, for everyone on Social Security and Medicare, and for every woman who would exercise reproductive freedom, we must defeat Mike Lawler.

We can defeat Mike Lawler and reclaim the majority–but it won't be easy. Election experts are calling this race a “toss-up,” and Lawler has an army of deep-pocketed lobbyists, national Republicans, and other corporate allies who will spend whatever it takes to hold this seat.
