Hey there — happy Halloween!
A few weeks ago, I spent the day with my 11-year-old niece, working on her chosen costume: Weird Barbie. For those of you who have been living under a rock, Weird Barbie is a character from the Barbie movie — based on a version of Barbie that I *may* know something about: the Barbie that was covered in paint, markers, and crayons; hair chopped off, and was dressed in non-Barbie-like clothing.
Given that, and the truly *insane* price of pre-made costumes, we spent an afternoon hitting Michael’s and glue-gunning and puffy-painting away. It was an awesome day, and here is the end product:
Pretty good, right? While everyone is gearing up for a night of trick-or-treating, my team and I are working hard to keep the Senate from getting even a bit more spooky. So, if between enjoying Halloween candy and haunted houses, you consider making a contribution to help us hit our October goal, we would be grateful.
