Hi John.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thinks you’re OK with some people getting a break on the carbon tax, but not others.

Do you think he’s right? There’s a crystal-clear way for you to put that to the test.

Here’s what’s happening: Trudeau just announced that he’s taking the carbon tax off furnace oil until after the next election. That’s nice for some folks in Atlantic Canada where many people use furnace oil to heat their homes.

Here’s the problem: Trudeau’s leaving the rest of you out in the cold. If you use anything other than furnace oil to heart your home, there’s no break for you. So, if you’re heating your home with natural gas, you’re still getting punished by Trudeau’s carbon tax.

Wouldn’t you like to see the media actually report on polling numbers showing what people think about this?

You can make that happen.

Here’s the plan: we’re working with a top national polling firm to do a cross-country scientific survey asking Canadians whether the government should take carbon taxes off all forms of home heating.

This issue is moving fast and you know politicians care about polling numbers more than the air they breathe so now’s the time to get this done.

The polling firm we’re working with is one of the best in the business so it’s going to cost about $1,200.

Let’s show Trudeau whether Canadians want carbon taxes taken off all home heating.

My family lives in southern Alberta. It was -10 last week with snow covering the ground. The carbon tax will cost them and many other Canadians a ton of money this year just to stay warm.

This is important to me and I’m sure it’s important to you too.

Thanks for taking a stand – we’re starting to see real progress.

All the best,

Franco Terrazzano

PS: It’s amazing how fast $10 can add up when thousands of taxpayers across Canada chip in – here’s the link to our secure donation site: [link removed] ([link removed] > 1|*true)
