It’s Alex Vindman. Most of you know that I’m an Army Veteran. And most of you know who I am because of Trump’s first impeachment trial.
I testified before the House of Representatives, and told them the truth about Trump’s corrupt call with President Zelenskyy. I reported that Trump withheld critical Military aid to force President Zelenskyy to open a baseless, politically motivated investigation against Joe Biden.
Trump attacked me viciously, as did many Republicans in Congress and in the media.
Reporting Donald Trump’s corruption and testifying in that impeachment inquiry cost me my Military career. But if I had to do it all over again, I would. Because doing the right thing matters in a country like ours.
The man who is now Speaker of the House supported expunging Trump’s impeachment. Mike Johnson.
I will not sit idly by as he and a Congress led by the most extreme wing of the Republican Party drive their extreme partisan agenda, while they whitewash history and AGAIN imperil aid for Ukraine. I am doubling down on my commitment to send each and every radical Republican into political retirement.
