Virtual Info Session on November 14
Applications are now open for the Fall ’24 cohort of the Master of Health Care Innovation (MHCI) ([link removed] ) program from the University of Pennsylvania. We are growing a diverse network of innovative thinkers and leaders passionate about improving health care.
Students build a learning community from across health care, including:
policymakers | executives | directors and managers | researchers | clinicians | entrepreneurs | consultants.
They study core areas—health policy | behavioral economics | health equity | operations | innovation | leadership—and choose electives in data and AI, digital health, and more.
We invite you to join an online session to learn how the MHCI can help you:
- Make a positive change in health care.
- Bring lessons from a structured, interdisciplinary curriculum into your work.
- Understand the perspectives of various stakeholders.
- Pursue the innovation you’re passionate about leading.
Our staff will address how the MHCI has spurred career advancement for students and alumni, as well as describe the basic components of the curriculum and the online learning experience. And members of the MHCI community will share how they have connected with classmates and discovered that their unique perspective contributes to the cohort.
Your questions are welcome! After the session, you may follow up with our staff, who can also connect you with students and alumni.

“The health care system needs to be transformed to deliver better care more efficiently, at lower costs, to make patients’ experience better. To accomplish these lofty goals, we need people who are not stuck in conventional wisdom but can think outside the box: MHCI students and alumni.”
- Zeke Emanuel, Diane v.S. Levy and Robert M. Levy University Professor, MHCI Faculty Director
