Over the last 10 months, time and time again, Republicans have put their three-ring circus show before the needs of their constituents.
Their inability to align has wasted weeks of Congressional time. The last time a Speaker needed a second vote to be elected, let alone a 15th vote, was in 1923. Ousting their own Speaker and struggling to re-elect a successor was a first for our country.
The week our government funding was due, they risked the American and global economies when they instead prioritized their unfounded impeachment hearings for President Biden. Their key witness opened the hearing by saying, “I do not believe that the evidence currently meets the standard of a high crime and misdemeanor needed for an article of impeachment.”
The short of it is – they are unfit in every way, shape, and form to be in leadership and manage the responsibilities of protecting the American people.
Today is the last day of the month, and we need to ensure our October fundraising reflects the strength of our movement to take back the House in 2024.
