We are looking for people to join this effort and become part of the ranks of our chapter leads – either to start new chapters, take over inactive ones or join the leadership team of an existing chapter.
Plainly, liberal values are being attacked from both the far left and the right. Populism seeks to destroy the pragmatism which this moment requires. We all play a part in this, big or small, locally or nationally.
That’s why each of our CNL chapters is key to advancing liberal ideals and championing progress.
CNL is currently seeking members to join as founding Leads and start a chapter or to step up in an existing chapter in your area!
We ask that each Lead can commit to 5 hours of chapter work each month, which includes one 45 min monthly all Leads call, and one 30 min one-on-one check in with CNL’s national staff.
The national framework which each chapter follows allows room for each chapter lead to make it their own – with a Leadership Team, each chapter is able to bring the local flavor to national organizing for liberal values.

After completing the Interest Session, we will contact you for a short informal interview and upon successful completion of that, you will be invited to join a New Leads cohort to prepare you to lead a local New Liberals chapter.
