The Cook Political Report just shifted our race’s rating in my favor. A late-cycle change like this indicates a significant change in the dynamics of a race. And that’s not all: a new poll shows my campaign WITHIN 1-POINT of Tate Reeves – 46% - 45%. John, this is the most competitive race Mississippi has seen in decades. Pundits are calling it a “nail-biter.”

They know what we know: Tate Reeves is vulnerable.

It’s no wonder why. Tate Reeves is one of the most unpopular governors in the country. Mississippians are fed up with his failed leadership and lies. But it won’t be easy to take down a well-funded, bought-and-paid-for politician like Reeves. Reeves and his big-money friends are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at us, and he has a HUGE fundraising advantage over our grassroots team, but together, I know we can kick him out of the governor’s office.

So I’m asking, John: will you split a donation between the DGA and my campaign to help us stop Republicans like Tate Reeves once and for all? Right now, all gifts to the DGA are being triple-matched dollar-for-dollar up to their $50,000 goal, but only until midnight tonight. We cannot afford to fall short or show any weakness during this crucial moment.
