One week ago, I challenged my team to set a goal of raising $75,000 by tonight’s end-of-month deadline. I asked them then if it was realistic -- they said it was tough but doable if they pushed their hardest.
But this morning, when I checked in with my campaign manager and finance director, they told me the numbers were “less than stellar” and that if things don’t change in the next 12 hours, we’ll miss our goal.
Look, Republicans are pouring cash into Virginia to try to solidify a total GOP stronghold in our Commonwealth -- that includes the state legislature, governorship, and my Senate seat.
We cannot be complacent. Complacency is how we lost the governorship and our majority in the House of Delegates in 2021.
We’ve got to fight back. And while I know it’s a lot to ask, I need you to dig deep today: Can you pitch in $25 or more before midnight to help me close the gap and reach this October goal?
