The American people have been held hostage by the House Republicans for far
too long now, and it has taken well over two months to ensure our government is

Everyone – it has been an intense October and now we are already at the end of
the month! If anything was proven this October, it's that the House Republicans
are incapable of, and indeed uninterested in, leading a nation.

Multiple failed attempts at electing a Speaker, almost letting the government
shut down, and the incessant infighting amongst the different GOP factions. All
these factors prove now more than ever that we must elect more Democrats to
Congress to actually govern.
