What's really spooking us this Halloween?
No, it's not the new Saw movie or the fear of only getting Tootsie Rolls when trick-or-treating.
It's something far scarier:
🕸️ It's the fact that we've known for decades that truck pollution is poisoning our communities—especially communities of color—and that EPA is currently falling short in protecting us.
🕸️ It's the fact that some truck companies are bragging about commitments to electrify their fleets, while also secretly lobbying against strong clean truck standards.
🕸️ It's the fact that the Biden administration has the power to stand up to industry and fight for communities, but is running out of time to do it.
Fortunately, we can do something about these Halloween "tricks." We're still sending signatures to EPA on our petition urging them to pass the strongest possible clean truck standards, meaning there's still time for you to speak up for our communities and our climate.
