Leadership

In this week’s Leadership newsletter, we share tools we can use to build a better world. We offer a few concrete ways philanthropy can support movements for justice and protect our democracy. First, funders have a critical role to play in countering political repression in Georgia. Next, the Boston Foundation has launched a new Racial Wealth Equity Center to curate research on racial wealth disparities in hopes of catalyzing long-term policy change to close the persistent gaps. Then, in order to create economic systemic change, movements must invest in the new curricula and resources that help organizers connect their work on the ground with visions for a democratic economy. Finally, our fall climate justice issue of the magazine explores what we need to create our homes in the future.
