Over the weekend, I took some time to spend with my family and truly think about what it would mean to represent the people of Texas House District 80.
All across this district, are families just like mine living paycheck to paycheck. And more and more families are falling into poverty with no hope in sight.
It’s thanks to the people of Uvalde and to role models like my parents that I’ve been fortunate enough to build a business here, teach at our local college, and coach youth soccer — but now I want to give back by serving the people of House District 80. Please chip in to help me continue fighting for families across the district.
I’m proud to be a son of Uvalde, of an immigrant mother who taught me the importance of la familia, and the son of a father who taught me what it meant to work hard and to always be there for those who depend on you. As a Marine, it was my job to serve my country and now I hope to take on a new job — serving the people and the place that I have called home all my life.
As a husband and father to three kids, I know firsthand what it is like to worry about the future we are leaving behind for our children. That’s why I’m fighting to keep our children safe in school and to build an economy where our children can thrive — because I can no longer sit on the sidelines while politicians make empty promises.
If I’m elected, I WILL fight for the families who live here — from our children to our seniors. Because at the heart of my campaign is a very simple idea: la familia.
