Their failed COVID-19 response was evidence enough that we don't want the WHO to police the world.

As you may remember, under the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the emergency powers taken up by our government -- our lives were changed dramatically.

Unelected bureaucrats in our own government repeated the suggestions of the World Health Organization. So-called experts told us to stay at home...don't visit our elderly loved ones...close our businesses...don't go to work...keep kids isolated at home for school online...shut our church doors.

Even some of our lawmakers endorsed their dictates through executive orders at state and local levels: Wear a mask everywhere you go...don't gather in large groups...take the vaccine or you can't go to work...show proof of vaccine or you can't go anywhere in public!

Unconstitutional mandates became the law of the land.

In the beginning, frightening statistics kept Americans in a state of confusion. But Family Research Council kept truth-seeking individuals like you informed and stood up for our First Amendment rights at every level.

People challenged many of the mandates in courts -- and won -- proving what happens when brave Americans choose to take a stand.

Thankfully, many eyes have finally been opened to see that the pandemic response had widespread impacts that will be felt for generations to come.

But now the WHO wants to take away control from our own elected officials and be the ultimate authority on your family's choices for medical care.

FRC Board Chairwoman and former congresswoman Michele Bachmann, who has tracked this effort since the beginning, explained how the WHO plans to eliminate our sovereignty in an interview on Washington Watch earlier this year:

"There's a dual track process that they're following. One is through a global pandemic treaty that they're calling an accord. The second is through a package of about 300 amendments to the international health rules. Both lead to the same result. Both lead to the creation of a platform for global governance through health care."

The WHO won't let anything get in their way. They are using multiple initiatives to achieve this goal because they know it will create confusion and under that cloud -- they can do whatever they want.

As we speak, the World Health Organization is working to expand its power and gearing up to further discuss a draft of the Pandemic Agreement at their Intergovernmental Negotiating Body meeting next week.

While the World Health Assembly will not vote on this Pandemic Agreement or the proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations until May of 2024, here in the United States we are coming closer to a major deadline that would enable us to stop the WHO's power grab.

NOVEMBER 17.

Our lawmakers have until Friday, November 17, to pass legislation to fund our government. So, this is the time for our lawmakers to take a clear, unwavering stand to say we will not go along with the unelected globalist bureaucrats' plans at the WHO.

FRC is praying for wisdom for the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson (R-La.), and calling on all members of Congress to stand up for our nation's sovereignty and the U.S. Constitution.

If our representatives in government fail to take action, we could fall under control of this global system of governance.

Climate change, the right to life, transgender surgeries for minors, freedom of speech...anything can be placed in the public health category under the WHO's current proposals.

The WHO will make the rules.

Our senators and representatives need prayers and encouragement from everyone across the country. We need to call on the Holy Spirit to empower them to stand firm for our liberties.
