When participating in a race, viewing the whole course seems daunting. But when you break it down and go checkpoint by checkpoint, the race seems much more manageable.

The threats to our environment are similar. They often feel big and looming, but in reality there are many smaller, less daunting pieces that we can take on one by one. 

The experts here at EDF have spent decades breaking down our greatest environmental challenges and building a plan to address them piece by piece — such as ensuring safer chemicals in household items, making food production more sustainable and building a satellite to detect methane and hold polluters accountable.

Plans as big as these need resources and people power to make a meaningful difference. This is where you come in.
