John,
Cities across the US are struggling with a surge in gun violence, and this issue was once again highlighted by a violent weekend. Last week, in Maine, 18 lives were tragically lost due to the horrific actions of one individual. Shockingly, the nation experienced 11 more mass shootings this past weekend alone.
The question we face is, how many more innocent lives must be taken before we finally take action? We're asking you, John, to lend your voice and sign your name today if you believe that action is needed right now. So far this year, the Gun Violence Archive has recorded at least 580 mass shootings in our country. [[link removed]]

*
In

and
left
16
individuals

*
Over

Moreover, it's crucial to note that Mike Lawler voted against important measures such as requiring a license for the possession of semi-automatic firearms, authorizing the state to sue gun manufacturers for damages caused by guns, and requiring social media account disclosure for those applying for a handgun license.
True public safety isn't about minimizing body counts ; it's about working proactively to prevent these tragedies. Republicans like Mike Lawler, who resist enacting common-sense gun safety legislation, are putting our community in even greater danger.
We've had enough — we won’t stand by while the safety of our communities and our families is compromised by extremists. Sign your name if you're ready for change. [[link removed]]
