News from Rep. Chip Roy

Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:

The fight continues
Last week, House Republicans unified behind a new Speaker, Representative Mike Johnson. While I am proud to congratulate my friend and fellow conservative, it is time to get back to work putting an end to the myriad Democrat-created crises plaguing this country and its citizens.

Our country is under siege from a wide-open border, spending is out of control while inflation runs rampant, and our federal bureaucracy has been brazenly weaponized against everyday Americans. Our enemies are currently emboldened by a weak White House and a woke Pentagon, and our key ally, Israel, is under assault.  It is time to lead. It is time to fight. It is time for the American people to win again.

Who’s paying for this stuff?
The Senate uniparty is attempting to push a giant supplemental spending bill that includes unapproved funding for Ukraine while using Israel funding as leverage. We must oppose this. We can’t keep sending money to Ukraine without full transparency of what's accounted for, what our end goal for the war is, and how it is in our national securities best interest.

Demanding an account of stockpiled arms sent to Ukraine
I am demanding a full accounting from the Pentagon of how much ammunition reserve is available for Israel following concerning reports that the stockpile may be running low after the Biden administration used it to support the war in Ukraine.

As Israel continues to defend itself from Hamas and other regional terrorist groups under the sponsorship of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is imperative to the United States’ national security interests that Israel has the tools it needs to win and deter their adversaries.
