I want to invite you to join me, Auditor Rob Sand, and my fellow State Senator Sarah Trone Garriott for an evening of unity and leadership.

Wednesday, November 8th at 6:30 pm, join us (family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, you name it!) as we connect, engage, and express our commitment to taking back our great state. Guest speaker Auditor Sand (the only Democrat elected statewide in 2022) will share insights into the importance of electing fellow Dems up and down the ticket. I’ve also asked my friend and fellow State Senator Sarah Trone-Garriott to speak on why races like hers are so important.

I know that taking on the Republicans’ Supermajority seems daunting but it’s possible. We have key elections next November that will help us break that Supermajority—that’s why I’m stepping up to help my fellow Democrats.

The fight is now more important than ever—we can’t take our foot off the gas. That’s why I’m asking you to give now.

Even though we’re meeting at the Lucky Cat Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids, there is nothing funny about Republicans stripping us of our rights. Let’s show the Republicans in the Senate that we are stronger together and will not stand idly by.
