Summary:?DHS invites organizations that work with new Americans (people born abroad and their children, regardless of immigration status) to share information about activities, relationships and experiences that support new Americans to secure and maintain employment, meet career goals, undergo training and access education.

Summary:?DHS seeks proposals from qualified responders to gather feedback and data and conduct a study on ways to simplify and expand access to positive support, crisis, specialist, respite and other intervention services in Minnesota.

Audience:?Lead agencies, CL providers and case managers, corporate foster care moratorium liaisons and other interested parties

Summary:?The CL exception to the licensing moratorium will expire Sunday, Dec. 31, 2023. Providers interested in converting their CL setting to a corporate foster care/community residential setting under the exception must work with their corporate foster care moratorium liaison to verify exception eligibility in a timely manner so they can submit the final request to DHS before the Dec. 31, 2023, deadline.

Audience:?People using consumer directed community supports (CDCS) and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG), people interested in information about Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) and other interested parties

Summary:?DHS contracted with 16 organizations to provide FMS in Minnesota. People who use CDCS and CSG do not need to take any action right now unless their current FMS provider will no longer be contracted with the state.

Summary: The 2023 Minnesota Legislature passed rate increases for select Elderly Waiver, Alternative Care and Essential Community Supports service rates effective Jan. 1, 2024. Each provider that receives a rate increase must use 80% of the marginal increase in revenue to increase compensation-related costs for employees they employ directly. They must prepare and post a distribution plan for new funds by Jan. 1, 2024.

Summary: DHS seeks applicants to fill 19 open seats on the Waiver Reimagine Advisory Committee. The committee provides feedback on the continuing development and implementation of Waiver Reimagine. Current members who reapply will get priority consideration, followed by non-members who submit an early application before the priority deadline.
