John, across the country, extremist Republicans are systematically attacking the very foundations of our free society. They've silenced speech, made it harder to vote, but somehow easier to buy assault weapons.

They’re hellbent on dividing us – because we know their ideas are unpopular, their policies are out of touch, and their extreme message threatens our democracy. Meanwhile, Democratic governors like me are fighting to protect and expand our fundamental rights and freedoms in states nationwide.
