We let you know at the beginning of the month that we had set a goal of raising $15,000 through online grassroots contributions. 

That was before we knew that the House would go without a Speaker for 22 days, before we knew that extremists would balk at our good faith efforts to find a bipartisan solution, before we saw just how dysfunctional the House of Representatives could be when politicians prioritize partisanship over people.

Now, it’s even clearer that we have to do everything possible to return sanity to Congress. And friend, we’re still over $6,200 from meeting our October goal.
