When she first ran for Senate, she started out 17 points down from the popular Republican incumbent who had truckfulls of campaign cash from Wall Street.
But Elizabeth campaigned hard. She called out how our system is rigged for the wealthy and well-connected and against everyone else. And we won — by 7.5 points.
Since then, Elizabeth has been up against some powerful special interests trying to stop her and our movement: extremist Republicans, Big Pharma, Big Oil, and Big Banks who use their deep pockets to try to stop Elizabeth’s plans.
But because of this grassroots movement, we’ve been able to compete against their money and influence and make positive change.
Elizabeth is running for re-election because there’s a lot more we’ve got to do to make our government work for everyone in Massachusetts and across the country, not just the wealthy and well-connected. It’s going to take a strong grassroots movement to keep up this fight.
Pundits, strategists, and special interests will look for any signs of weakness right now. That’s why it’s incredibly critical that we continue to hit our grassroots fundraising goals, and we’ve got our important October deadline tomorrow. So will you please pitch in $28 or anything you can to re-elect Elizabeth Warren and make sure our campaign can compete?
Thanks for everything,
Team Warren
