With reproductive rights in Ohio on the ballot next week, we’re disheartened to say we’re seeing more and more headlines like this:

"Abortion is still under threat by dark money groups that helped overturn Roe"

In a moment, we’re going to ask you to donate to support our fight to protect abortion in the state constitution, but first, let's shed some light on an issue that lies in the shadows: Republican dark money.

Anti-choice extremists are doing everything they can to ban abortion in Ohio, including using dark-money operatives. This poses a huge threat to all the progress we’ve made around women’s right to choose, as millions of dollars are being flooded to organizations and groups whose sole intention is to take away that right. Not only does this money go towards misleading anti-abortion ads, but it also goes towards Republicans’ efforts to strike down Issue 1.

But amidst Republicans’ dark-money chaos, our mission hasn’t changed: We’re determined to win the battle for reproductive justice by passing Issue 1 on Election Day.

Now that you’re aware of the hidden forces in Ohio that attempt to manipulate our rights, please consider joining our mission by giving whatever you can before our end-of-month deadline tomorrow at midnight.
