Team, did you know that Illinois ranks in the bottom half of all states for voter turnout per district?

The 31st-lowest rate in the country, according to Sabato's Crystal Ball. That’s a failing grade by any standard.

I’m not mad … just disappointed.

That’s because, these days, turnout wins elections. Ultimately, it all comes down to who shows up on Election Day.

The GOP knows that all too well. That’s why their playbook involves obstructing the Democratic base by any means necessary, and of course, riling up their own base. Usually by fear-mongering about some vague threat that vanishes the day after Election Day.

They do that because it works.

So I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: No seat (or state) is “safe.”

That’s why I’m asking for your help to turn out Democratic voters in Illinois’ most competitive districts and give ourselves the best possible chance at a House majority next November.

A strong ground game requires plenty of resources to challenge the right-wing money machine. So, if you can, will you chip in $25 or more before our End-of-Month deadline tomorrow night?
