Dear John,

If there is anything that can cause a heated debate, it is a discussion involving politics, even among Christians.

Though many people thoughtfully “vote their conscience,” do we also consider how our vote impacts others around us? Every voter should consider how their action at the polls impacts the “least of these,” those who have no voice, who have no power, who have no vote.

As we now head into the general election season, it is time for Christians to Biblically and thoughtfully consider which candidates, policies, and positions will serve the best interests of the common good.

And that primarily means supporting the protections and rights of preborn children and their families.
