We just wrapped up United We Dream’s UndocuSummit 2023, and it couldn’t have gone better! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the event:
About 200 immigrant youth and allies from across the country gathered together to brainstorm and discuss how more work can be done on the youth vote, effective coalition building, digital safety, base building, fighting disinformation, building local power, and spiritual resilience.
Meeting people across the country – including folks from TX, CA, ID, FL, KS, AZ, and 10 of other states – at the UndocuSummit encouraged me to stay resilient, practice community care, and never give up on the future we deserve!
But UndocuSummit only lasts for a few days. If we want to really make a difference, we need to carry out this work year round. United We Dream offers immigrant youth leaders the resources and training to organize their communities throughout the year, but we need your support:
