"I've met him, and he's a nice guy," he explained. “I just disagree with him on policy.”

Here’s why I was disappointed to hear this statement. The GOP Speaker wants to criminalize abortion, further harming women and children. He opposes the Equality Act, further legitimizing discrimination against LGBTQ Americans. He wants to strip down and end Social Security and Medicare, devastating our seniors. And he was the chief architect behind the GOP’s 2020 “Stop the Steal” attempt to undermine our presidential election.
