Friend,

On November 7, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear U.S. vs Rahimi [[link removed]] to decide if individuals subject to qualifying domestic violence restraining orders can be prohibited from possessing firearms — and the stakes couldn’t be higher.

This case is a matter of life and death for those impacted by domestic violence and has the potential to upend gun safety laws nationwide.

That’s why Brady and our coalition partners are rallying outside of the U.S. Supreme Court on November 7, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. ET. Will you join us? We’re just eight days away from this consequential case, so please RSVP today! [[link removed]]

The facts speak for themselves: Guns are the weapon of choice for domestic violence homicides in America, and female intimate partners are more likely to be murdered with a firearm than by all other means combined. Everyone is safer when abusers don’t have access to firearms.

But this case has the potential to make it easier for domestic abusers to gain access to firearms, putting all Americans, especially victims and survivors of domestic violence, at risk of senseless violence. We can’t let this happen, friend. It’s up to us to send a clear message to the U.S. Supreme court, so please RSVP now. [[link removed]]
