Virginia’s legislative elections are next week and the future of our democracy hangs in the balance. The GOP already controls the House and the governor’s mansion; the Democratic Senate is the ONLY thing keeping a GOP trifecta from taking over the state.
If the GOP flips the Senate and keeps the House next week, then Youngkin and his MAGA allies have all the power they need to turn Virginia into another hotbed of right-wing extremism like Texas — and to make sure that Democrats can never win an election in this crucial battleground state ever again.

They aren’t even trying to hide their plans one bit. If it stops people from voting, the VAGOP has tried to pass it — and you can bet your bottom dollar that a GOP trifecta won’t certify presidential election results for President Biden, paving the way for a second Trump presidency.
