Next Tuesday, Ohio voters will decide whether basic access to abortion is a protected right. So much hinges on winning this vote—and we’re doing everything we can to turn out every pro-choice voter to run up the margins.
Passing Issue 1 will make sure that the dangerous 6-week abortion ban signed into law by anti-choice Ohio Republicans is sent to the dustbin of history where it belongs.
My team and I will be doing everything we can to make sure that Issue 1 (to protect abortion rights) wins when it comes before the voters next week. When we do, we will send a resounding message that will have ripple effects across the entire country: if you try to force your unpopular views on the American people, you will fail—and you will pay a political price for it.
The anti-choice extremists will not succeed, in part because I will be going door to door alongside thousands of other pro-choice fighters to turn out the majority of voters who agree that reproductive freedom is an essential right.
