Herb Jones for Congress

I'm writing to you today, John, because we can't afford to wait any longer.

In the wake of the tragic shooting in Maine, it's clear that our nation's gun violence epidemic is spiraling out of control.

The question is: What has Rob Wittman done to make our communities safer? The unfortunate truth is nothing. He's been in politics for nearly four decades, but he's prioritized personal gain and political agendas over the well-being of Virginians.

Our hearts ache for the victims and their families in Maine, and it's time for action. We must make our voices heard and demand change.

Join me in signing our petition, urging Congress to take swift, comprehensive action on gun violence.

It’s critical that Congress do two things:

  1. Enforce common-sense gun safety measures to keep weapons of war away from those who pose a threat to public safety.
  2. Ensure that our elected representatives prioritize the safety and well-being of our communities over their own political interests.

Together, we can be the catalyst for change that Virginia and our nation need to combat this pressing issue. Let's honor the memory of the Maine shooting victims by taking concrete steps to prevent such tragedies in the future.

I hope you’ll stand with me and other grassroots activists in the fight for a safer, more secure future for our children, neighbors, and communities.

In community,

Herb Jones
