When I first moved to Canada with my family, I was only 10 years old. Growing up in an immigrant family is a story many Canadians know well – one where my parents taught me the value of hard work at a young age, and that’s something I bring with me in every part of my job.

And I know that’s a value that all of you – our supporters – bring to our movement every day too. Our movement is made up of hundreds of thousands of Canadians who truly want to make a difference. With your support, we’re able to do more than set goals for making real progress – we’re able to achieve them.

Together, we’re creating more affordable housing by building new homes over the next three years through the Housing Accelerator Fund. We’re helping Canadians with the costs of raising a family by delivering $10-a-day child care, introducing the Canada Dental Benefit, and enhancing the Canada Child Benefit. We’re fighting climate change by making sure pollution isn’t free anywhere in Canada, while also putting money back into Canadians’ pockets. And we’re supporting small businesses by cutting the small business tax rate from 11% to 9% and lowering credit card transaction fees.
