Hey John —

I know in my heart that together, we will continue moving forward and pass more legislation that makes a real difference in the lives of families in IL-14 and beyond.

We have the people power to enact more life-saving gun safety laws and policies that protect reproductive freedom, expand affordable health care, lower costs for parents and families, and so much more — and it will be because of folks like you who are determined to make our country a better place for all.

But, John, there aren't enough people in Congress who understand the biggest issues facing the nation, who share the values that our district lives by and holds dear. I can't stress this enough: We must keep IL-14 blue and elect at least five more Democrats who are ready to roll up their sleeves and make progress for working families.

This grassroots team has been instrumental over the last several months and years in powering our campaign to protect this seat. That's why I'm turning to you — because the full support of our grassroots movement is crucial right now.

So, John, will you split a donation between EMILYs List and my campaign toward our End-of-Month effort before our deadline tomorrow at midnight?

Knowing that we can rely on your support to ensure our campaign has the resources to fuel our work means so much to me.

Gratefully,

Lauren
