When she was 10 years old, Quinn’s younger brother was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Her family was scared, and so was she—but right then and there, Quinn told herself she was determined to do anything she could to make her brother’s life easier—and to find a cure.
Just a few years later, Quinn was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, too.
