Dear John,

This term started with House Republicans' inability to elect a Speaker — and things haven't improved since. They just elected MAGA extremist Mike Johnson, who led the charge to overturn the 2020 election and is actively working to criminalize abortion around the country. 

Time and again, Republicans have shown that they're more interested in implementing their radical agenda than in fighting for working families. You deserve better. 

In just over a year, Democrats can win back control of the House. And we need your ongoing support to make it happen, starting today as we work to hit our end-of-October fundraising deadline strong.

Can we count on your support?

My Democratic colleagues and I are fighting to lower everyday expenses, invest in our communities’ climate resiliency, and protect reproductive rights. In short, we’re working on the issues that matter. 

Republicans like Mike Johnson, on the other hand, want to pass an abortion ban and cut Social Security and Medicare. 

There’s a clear choice here and we need all hands on deck to make it happen early and often through 2024.
